Well put
Neat puzzles and strange outcomes. For the sequel, can you add more of a story?
Reminds me of a more kid-like winter Machinarium.

Resemblance
Very fun game and reminds me of my older games (Pushies Plus). I really enjoyed the inverse bonus and made me take more risks to get it. My only concern was there was no regulations for the obstacle difficulties. Once or twice I was given some harder than normal obstacles right at the beginning.
Unique
Really fun and unique game. Love the concept. Although it is a rather easy game, it does hold its own and makes for a really relaxing experience. I think there was one puzzle (no. 38) where I was on it for like 5 seconds. One minor suggestion would be to have more than one song.
Did you use a 3D class like sand or paper vision?
Thanks for you review.
Yes, I've used Papervision 3D for this game.
Well...
Not bad for a first. What would have made it better would be to add some sort of consequence for not hitting a rupee. This will encourage the player to not just click wildly and loose interest before the timer runs out.
Second, I'd fix the tab+enter bug, especially with these types of games.
Third, you could spice'n up the game by adding items that alter the gameplay. An example would be an item that once hit it would give the player +10 seconds more on the clock.
Hope this helps in future projects.
I liked V1 better.
For some reason I enjoyed V1 more so. I didn't find too much difference in the 2 and I enjoyed the pills rather than the jewels. I found they just looked better. Also I didn't like the fact that at the end of every round it went to a white screen after being in a darker level. The difference was quite an eye sore.
Well done
Probably a frontpager.
I liked the game, loved the missions and the feel for the game. Everything was well done except for the graphics, I would have liked to see more than stickmen. Give me a shout if you are looking for an artist that can do more than stickmen ;P I'm not perfect but I'd love to practice my art on such a game. Consider and get back to me. Keep it up for the sequel.
Well Done & Congrats
I might be a bit late on the reviewing side but I'd have to say that you have awesome potential as a game maker. The music was a good choice, thumping flashes with the music was very nice and the game play, although little, was fun.
My only beef would be the running animation on the stick dude. It didn't really look like he was running at all. If it were smoother, fluid and proper, I think it would really add to it and make you seem like you are running really fast and not doing a half stride through the orange scenery.
Overall, really entertaining and I can't wait for Orange Runner 2. Maybe make it a different color runner for the sequel?

yeah. I fixed the animation for the sequel. I was kindof thinking of keeping it orange, but I might change the color scheme. Thanks for the review!
Alright
It was an alright game but nothing too different. I would have liked to have a health indicator of sorts because I didn't really know how many hits I could have taken.
Amusing
I very amusing game with a lot of good concepts behind it. Really makes you think about timing your gates and when you get a nice beat going it makes it that much more satisfying. Great game over all and very well presented. If I might give a suggestion it would be to keep a count of gates the player has open, possible under the max gates count of even make it a fraction like 3/5 gates.
